ROCK DRILLING SERVICES
We offer rock drilling services for each stage of the solar installation process.
Test drilling
With varying site conditions, it is important to do a complete site evaluation to decide what type of foundation will work best for your solar project. By performing test bores, we can collect data that will help your engineers choose the best foundation for your project.
REFUSAL drilling
If your site contains low-to-medium rock content where normal refusals are common, we offer refusal drilling. We will pre-drill a 4-inch to 6-inch hole that will be filled with aggregate for the foundation to be installed in.
SOLAR ROCK DRILLING
We utilize self-contained Furukawa top hammer rock drills that are capable of pre-drilling pilot holes up to 6-inch in diameter. Our track-mounted drills are ideal for sites with varying topography and are very effective at drilling pilot holes in a short time frame.
